Call for Proposals for Funding by the NIH Faculty and REPS Research Grant 2024

We are pleased to announce that research proposals for funding for fiscal year 2024 are now being accepted by the Office of the Executive Director, National Institutes of Health. A research grant of up to P500,000.00 each shall be given to deserving research projects to fund Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE). The proposals shall be evaluated based on relevance and scientific merit subject to appropriate ethical clearance.

 

The priority areas for research are based on the NUHRA 2017-2022, as follows:

Forum and Research Capacity Building Workshop on Healthy and Active Aging

In support of the Decade of Healthy Aging, and to jointly celebrate the Week of the Elderly and the UP Manila Health and Wellness Month, the Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, UP Manila will be hosting a Forum and Research Capacity Building Workshop on Healthy and Active Aging on October 9, 2023, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the NIH Conference Room, G/F NIH Bldg, UP Manila.

21st Newborn Screening Convention: Novel Bridging Strategies

The NBS Convention is an annual event that keeps health professionals updated on the recent developments on the newborn screening program. The lectures will provide additional information on the expanded newborn screening and relevant topics in the improvement of program implementation.
