Dr. Abadingo is a graduate of the UP College of Medicine in 2011. She took her residency training in Pediatrics at the Department of Pediatrics, Philippine General Hospital. She subsequently took her fellowship training in Clinical and Metabolic Genetics at the same institution. She has been with the Newborn Screening Reference Center (NSRC) since 2019 as Medical Specialist III acting as follow-up head of the Newborn Screening Continuity Clinic (NBSCC) at PGH who caters to patients from NCR, Rizal Province, and Region IV-B. She has published several researches both in locally and internationally peer-reviewed and reputable journals. Dr. Abadingo is the current Director of the Newborn Screening Reference Center, National Institutes of Health, UP Manila, and a member of the Expanded Newborn Screening (ENBS) Expert Committee on Metabolic Disorders by the Department of Health.
