Global Perspective on Herbal Medicine Research

The UP Manila National Institutes of Health holds a monthly research forum which serves as venue for research dissemination of completed, relevant research outputs of different colleges, institutes and study groups of UP Manila.

For this month, we are pleased to inform you that the NIH Institute of Herbal Medicine will be organizing the forum entitled, “Global Perspective on Herbal Medicine Research” on 19 October 2016, 1:00-3:30 P.M., at the NIH Centennial Conference Room.

The aim of the research forum is to present the current state of herbal medicine research in the international scene and compare it with the practices here in the Philippines. The forum will tackle ways on how local stakeholders can improve the state of herbal medicine drug development in the country. We invited Prof. Juntra Laothavorn, a global expert on Herbal Medicine Research, to be one of the speakers for the event.
