NIH@25:Transforming Philippine Health Systems Towards Universal Healthcare Through Research Partnerships

As we move towards universal health, the health systems should be aligned and responsive to the needs of the people. With this, the role of research is crucial in the development of evidence-informed policies and programs. The UP-NIH is committed to galvanize and support health research needed to strengthen our goal of health-for-all.

To illustrate the role of health research in pursuit of universal healthcare for Filipinos
To gather relevant stakeholders and discuss the whole-of-government approach towards Universal Health Care
To present and propose actionable evidence-based recommendations for health policy and public health program
To reflect and learn from the ethical challenges in research and policy during the COVID-19 pandemic
