In support of the Decade of Healthy Aging, and to jointly celebrate the Week of the Elderly and the UP Manila Health and Wellness Month, the Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, UP Manila will be hosting a Forum and Research Capacity Building Workshop on Healthy and Active Aging on October 9, 2023, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the NIH Conference Room, G/F NIH Bldg, UP Manila.

The dissemination forum aims to present the Institute’s projects that contributed to the understanding of wellbeing, frailty, and resilience. Meanwhile, the workshop aims to train healthcare practitioners and UP constituent universities, especially their health services units in conducting comprehensive geriatric assessment for research.
