Call for Proposals - NIH Faculty/REPS Research Grant 2026

We are pleased to announce that the UP Manila National Institutes of Health (NIH) is now accepting research proposals for funding under the NIH Faculty/ REPS Research Grant 2026.

The grant is open to all UP Manila regular faculty and researchers. Non-regular faculty/ researchers, and/ or trainees (i.e. resident or fellow in-training) who wish to avail of the grant must conduct the study as a co-investigator and request a regular faculty/researcher from the same service/ department/ academic unit to assume the role of the principal investigator.

Launching of Quezon City’s Hepatitis B and C Model Care

Body: 

On August 20, 2025, the Quezon City Hepatitis B and C Model of Care was officially launched. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between the Quezon City Local Government Unit (LGU) represented by Hon. Ma. Josefina “Joy” Belmonte, City Mayor and the Quezon City Health Office, in partnership with the University of the Philippines Manila.

The agreement formalizes a Patient-Centered Model of Care for Hepatitis B and C, aiming to improve access to integrated and holistic care for affected individuals.
