20th International Conference of the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in Asia and the Western Pacific (FERCAP)

The Forum for Ethical Review Committees in Asia and the Western Pacific (FERCAP) is holding the FERCAP 2020 International Conference from December 7 to 9, via Zoom, in collaboration with the National Institutes of Health, and in partnership with the Philippine Health Research Ethics Network (PHREN). The theme of the conference is “Addressing Ethical Challenges During the COVID-19 Outbreak,” in view of the enormous challenges to the scientific community and changes to the normal routine of daily life across the world.

The 2020 FERCAP International Conference seeks to describe the COVID-19 measures that were adopted, its effects on health systems, health care delivery, conduct of health research and its impact on people’s perception of social value, scientific and ethical soundness as well as lessons learned from the outbreak that will guide our future action.
