Dr Lopez received her Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Philippines. She had her residency training in Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and University of California Los Angeles Center for Health Sciences, Los Angeles, California, USA. She obtained her Masters in Public Health with Certificate in Vaccine Science and Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
