Dr. Kimberly Ong obtained her medical degree from the UP College of Medicine, and completed her residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in UP-PGH. As a resident, her research work has focused on improving the newborn hearing screening program in the country. At present, she is a Research Assistant Professor at the Philippine National Ear Institute and the Coordinator for External Affairs of the Newborn Hearing Screening Reference Center, while currently taking her Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology in the UP College of Medicine. Her research interest has expanded to include occupation hearing loss and general ear and hearing health.
